Taking the Festival of Lights to new Heights – Oklahoma City Chabad Community Center

Bricktown Oklahoma City Lights for Chanukah will be lit between 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Monday, December 26.
On the traditional third night of the Festival of Lights, at 2 South Mickey Mantle Drive (Oklahoma City, 73104) – at the Third Base Plaza alongside the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark – the Chabad Community center for Jewish Life and Learing will unveil a first-of-its-kind Menorah. Just in time for the eight-day Chanukah celebration, a unique Innovative Menorah will be high on display at the Bricktown Lights 2016 event.

The moment is anticipated to go viral though the medium of social media.The Menorah stands as a symbol and message of the triumph of freedom over oppression, of spirit over matter, of light over darkness. In these concerning times, the community will, Chabad leaders say, “welcome the approaching Festival of Lights and the timeless lessons of the Menorah.” 

Hundreds of Oklahoma City residents traditionally join each year for the annual City Wide Grand Chanukah Celebration sponsored by the Chabad Community Center For Jewish Life and Learning of Oklahoma City.

The Honorable Mick Cornett, Mayor of OKC will bring greetings to the crowd. He will be joined by other elected officials. Entertainment for all ages includes:
