OKLAHOMA CITY – Rep. Kevin McDugle, R-Broken Arrow, will be holding a press conference on Tuesday, Feb. 22, at 3 p.m. to discuss updates regarding the case of death row inmate Richard Glossip.

Through the work of McDugle, an ad hoc committee comprised of legislators was formed to find a third party to investigate and provide guidance regarding Mr. Glossip’s case.

The members of the committee are:

Rep. Kevin McDugle, R-Broken Arrow
Rep. Justin Humphrey, R-Lane
Rep. Garry Mize, R-Guthrie
Sen. David Bullard, R-Durant
Sen. Blake Stephens, R-Tahlequah

The committee has found a large national firm that will have upwards of 20 attorneys working on the Glossip case pro bono. The firm name and reason for getting involved will be announced at the press conference on Monday.CapitolBeatOK.com will monitor the group’s announcement.
