Oklahoma Forum: McGuigan joins Pryor, Ashley for post-election OETA analysis


Patrick B. McGuigan McGuigan joins OETA News Director Dick Pryor and eCapitol News Director Shawn Ashley for the half-hour analysis of the 2014 elections this Sunday (November 9) on the Oklahoma Network.

The program focuses on a General Election Recap where the trio unwrap the results and impact of the 2014 campaign season. McGuigan is the editor of CapitolBeatOK, an award-winning online news service and publisher of The City Sentinel, a weekly newspaper in Oklahoma City.

The panel’s discussion will first appear Sunday, 1 p.m. on OETA’s main broadcast channel 13, and 14 on the Cox Cable system. It will be on three more times Sunday on OKLA (Cox Cable Channel 112) at 3 p.m., 7 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.

Rebroadcasts on OKLAHOM for the remainder of the coming week include Monday (November 10) at 4 a.m. and 4 p.m.; Tuesday (November 11) 6:30 a.m., Thursday (November 13) 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. and Sunday (November 16) at 4:00 a.m.

Oklahoma Forum staff describes the program as delivering “thought-provoking conversation about important issues. We hear from noteworthy guests, and provide a forum for ideas that help Oklahomans here and around the world become better connected, informed and involved.”

McGuigan also participated in the Oklahoma Network’s comprehensive election night coverage, joining an opinion panel that included Arnold Hamilton of The Oklahoma Observer, OETA analyst Nate Webb, and reporter Marie Price of The Journal Record.
