Oklahoma Congressman Josh Brecheen Votes Again to Impeach Secretary Mayorkas. Now Senate must decide on trial

Washington, D.C. – This week, Oklahoma Congressman Josh Brecheen voted on the House floor for the second time to impeach Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

This time the vote passed the House of Representatives.

“The situation at our border is a crisis of Secretary Mayorkas’ own making. Mayorkas has thumbed his nose at the Constitution (Article IV, Section 4) since day one and there are at least seven known statutes of federal law that he is willfully ignoring. I now urge the Senate to take immediate action and convict him,” said Brecheen, a native of Coalgate who represents Oklahoma’s Second Congressional District.

December was the 34th straight month, where monthly illegal immigrant encounters have been higher than even the highest month seen under President Trump.

In December, 19 more individuals whose names appear on the terrorist watchlist were stopped trying to enter the U.S. illegally between ports of entry.

Under Biden, 331 of these individuals whose names appear on the terrorist watchlist were stopped trying to cross the Southern Border.

So far in Fiscal Year 24, there have been 50 individuals whose names appear on the terrorist watchlist who have been stopped trying to enter the U.S. illegally between ports of entry.
