Impact of Henry Scholarships subject of documentary film

The historic Lindsey Nicole Henry Scholarships are the subject of a new 30-minute documentary to be shown Tuesday, July 31, 7 p.m. at the University of Central Oklahoma’s Constitution Hall in the Nigh University Center in Edmond.

The showing is hosted by the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs (OCPA), the state’s leading think tank advocating limited government and economic liberty.
In information circulated this week, organizers of the showing said, “Come see how the Lindsey Nicole Henry Scholarships are changing the lives of Oklahoma families. Join us for a 30-minute documentary featuring Rob, Chloe, Phylicia, and other children.”

After the documentary is presented, there will be a panel discussion on the scholarships, including an evolving legal case, featuring Professor Andrew Spiropoulos and state Rep. Jason Nelson, the Oklahoma City Republican who guided the law to passage in 2010.
