‘TIS THE SEASON: Friendly cooperation from Costello, Edmondson

In this photograph, from left: Commissioner of Labor Mark Costello and former Attorney General Drew Edmondson rang the Christmas bell on the Salvation Army’s behalf this weekend.

The men helped raise money for the organization at the Wal-Mart located at I-35 and 15th Street on Edmond’s east side.

Edmondson, a Democrat, is now in private practice. After serving 16 years (four terms) as Oklahoma’s elected attorney general, Edmondson is now working with the GableGotwals law firm in Oklahoma City.

Costello, a Republican, was elected commissioner of labor in 2010 after a successful career in telephone software and technology.
