Lamb names chief of staff, communications director

Oklahoma Lt. Governor-elect Todd Lamb today (Monday, December 6) announced that Keith Beall will serve as his Chief of Staff in the Lt. Governor’s office. Beall currently is a Senior Account Manager for United Parcel Service in Oklahoma City. Lamb also announced Ashley Kehl will serve as director of communications in his office.

“I am truly excited that Keith has agreed to serve in this capacity. Keith’s knowledge of Oklahoma and experience in both the state and the federal government will be a tremendous asset to the office. 

“To me, it is always exciting when the best and brightest from the private sector return to public service. I look forward to again working with Keith Beall as we use every resource of the office to create better job opportunities for Oklahomans,” stated Lt. Governor-elect Todd Lamb.

Beall previously served former Governor Frank Keating from 1995 to 2002. In Governor Keating’s administration Beall served first as Deputy Director of Appointments then as Deputy Chief of Staff and Policy Director. He was District Director for Congressman Frank Lucas from 2002 to 2005, as well as managing the successful re-election campaigns for Congressman Lucas in 2002 and 2004. He was Political Director of the Oklahoma Republican Party for the 1994 election cycle.

Beall lives in Oklahoma City with his wife and daughter. Beall is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Economics.

“Ashley Kehl has worked with media outlets across Oklahoma as well as nationally,” Lt. Governor-elect Lamb  
added. “I’ve consistently seen her perform her duties successfully, but
just as important, Ashley is talented, dedicated and committed to
Oklahoma’s future. I am very pleased Ashley will be a vital part of our
office.”

Kehl most recently managed Lamb’s successful campaign for Lt. Governor. Prior to the Lamb campaign, Kehl served the Oklahoma Senate as Majority Leadership Media Assistant. Kehl was also actively involved in the 2006 and 2008 election cycles as a field representative for various state Senate races.

Kehl lives in Oklahoma City and is a graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a degree in Communications and Marketing.
